The case studies are finished. The first set is up, and the next set will be getting posted in the next couple days. Following this we will be deciding on the sustainable technologies that we wish to pursue on this project.
Once we have decided on the sustainable features we are going to focus on researching them so that we are able to use them properly, and within cost.

Welcome
Welcome to the Beyond the Usual blog. We are two architecture students that have set out on an independent study to reinvent the way that Habitat looks at design. We believe that our culture is dependent on the diversity within the architecture of the community. This diversity is in need of a push into the design of low income housing. We have set out to create a modular floor plan that can be adjusted with little effort in order to make a unique site specific house that can still be multiplied quickly and efficiently.
