Welcome to the Beyond the Usual blog. We are two architecture students that have set out on an independent study to reinvent the way that Habitat looks at design. We believe that our culture is dependent on the diversity within the architecture of the community. This diversity is in need of a push into the design of low income housing. We have set out to create a modular floor plan that can be adjusted with little effort in order to make a unique site specific house that can still be multiplied quickly and efficiently.
